Youtube is also features free movies, and there are also movies for sale. In just a short time, Youtube has become the worlds 3rd most popular website. Youtube has helped many of the worlds most popular artists get signed, including Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black. Many Youtubers including RayWilliamJohnson, CTFxC have made youtube there career. Last year, Ray William Johnson earned 1 million dollars just from Youtube's advertising-sharing program (partners). More and more people are now uploading videos to youtube, all in the hurry to get partnered.

Target Audience: Youtube can viewed by literally anyone.

Design Aspects

Visual Appeal: Youtube is very neatly laid out, on every page at the top, the navigation bar is always there. There is a very easy to use search bar, which when you search something it takes you to a neat layout of videos going down vertically and there are search options to the top. On the channel, page there are many ways of customization, you can change your background image and also your colour scheme. Each Page is not very long and doesn't not need much scrolling down. Each page is either a screen or a screen and a half long. Youtube has very nicely laid out site-map.

Technical Aspects

Technical: The url is the same as the name of the company. www.youtube.com The site in general is very fast easy to get around on, all elements load pretty quickly. The pages have been named properly, to whatever the page is called. The code is nicely organized. The meta tags and descriptors are included. There are no spelling or grammar mistakes for the part which youtube is in control of, but on peoples personal channels the users themselves have mad some mistakes. The site is very easy to find, even if i dont put the whole name youtube and only put tube, it takes me to youtube. The site requires adobe flash for the videos to work. There are no problems with the site, Youtube will work with any browser.
