Design Aspects

Visual Appeal: M.I.A is very cluttered, has colours all over the place and has absolutely no contrast. The site is no divided into proper pages, but is mostly one very very long page. The site has a video playing in the background which is very distracting, and the worst part is that the content past is has some transparency to it which makes the text/font very hard to read. This site is very dysfunctional, There are spelling and grammar mistakes almost on every screen. This seems like a site made by a 2 year old, definitely does not look like the site of a international pop star.   

Technical Aspects

Technical: The url is very confusing because it doesn't seem like it says M.I.A UK but more like miauk as one word. www.miauk.com The site in general is very fast easy to get around on, all elements load pretty quickly. The code is very unorganized. The meta tags are included and descriptors are not included. There are many spelling or grammar mistakes. The site is very easy to find, even if i dont put the whole name miauk and only put mia, it takes me to miauk. The site requires adobe flash for the videos to work. There are no problems with the site, miauk will work with any browser.
